Viks

It's been a while since I put pencil to paper. Nothing's changed since I was in kindergarten. Pencil...paper...scribble until it looks like something.

Paddy, P.Dinghy, Piddy...

So I get home late one Saturday night. The advice, "Khan, do more of what makes you happy", echoes briefly amongst thoughts of "Why does my shirt smell like barbeque?" and "Bahahaha..she thought I was Columbian".

So at 1am I trawled Facebook for someone's likeness to hijack. This is what I had by 1:38am when I decided to change my shirt and go to bed happy.

A note on the subject. He's a doctor, lives by the beach, looks like a certain British popstar and has noticeably large hands. Ladies.

I'll put the finished one up one day. But until then; muy feliz

Comparison

In response to a few questions about how true to the subject my sketches get I decided to just do a quick comparison.

In with the new

I've been fortunate enough to have met some very talented industrial designers this past year and gone into business to provide exhibition signage to the businesses of Australia.

It allows me one more outlet to promote something beautiful and practical in the business world. I've chosen to give the business a military/strategic feel to it because I feel that business is like a strategy game. There are a million different steps you can take and investing in quality physical exhibition is an excellent offensive manoeuvre. Do it right and you could very well gain some decisive ground on your competitors.

Anywho..the site is www.TacticalDisplays.com.au and I hope anyone reading this will help me make it a huge creative and commercial success story. =D

MK

Nowhere near as much rendering needed to make it look like the photo but I like it because its more lines than shades.
Weren't any major problems while doing this sketch. The shiny headwear and cross necklace provided me with a little bit of variety.

Have had a few comments about drawing too many girls. We here at gradspam believe in affirmative action policies. Affirmative action and spending long periods of time looking at photos of pretty girls.

That is all.

Birthday Cake

Not the clearest lines but a product of my experimenting with a Freeware drawing program called Paintstar.

Rakhi

There are some photos that just look 'right' to draw. This was one of them. Apologies to the party that was unceremoniously cut from the image.=p
